Minimally Invasive Body Contouring

Fat and loose skin, in a single treatment.

Performed in our office under local anaesthetic, through entry points small enough not to need stitches. No operating theatre, no general anaesthetic, no surgeon's fee — and days of recovery rather than weeks.

In short

Minimally invasive contouring works beneath the skin rather than across it. Energy is delivered through a fine cannula into the subdermal layer, which is why it reaches laxity that surface treatments cannot and why it works in one appointment rather than a course of twelve. It sits between non-invasive treatment and surgery — more result than the first, far less recovery than the second — and it is performed under physician direction.

The three categories

Where this sits.

The reason most people have not heard of this category is that it did not meaningfully exist ten years ago. It is the middle option, and for a lot of patients it is the right one.

Compare

The two platforms.

Downtime and session counts are typical ranges, not promises — your consult gives you the numbers for your body.

Treatment Best for How it works Downtime Sessions Starts at
QuantumRF New Fat and loose skin together — arms, abdomen Fractionated radiofrequency delivered beneath the skin through fine cannulas, under local anaesthetic A few days 1 Price TBC
Morpheus8 Body New Skin laxity and texture on the abdomen, flanks, arms and knees Microneedling combined with radiofrequency to remodel deeper tissue 1–3 days 3 Price TBC

Pricing for both platforms is being finalised ahead of launch. You will get the exact number in writing at your consult.

Results

Minimally invasive cases.

Cases are added as QuantumRF and Morpheus8 patients complete their 90-day scans — single treatments unless stated, with the session count and timeframe on every one.

Is this the right category

A rough answer before you come in.

If the skin creases when you pinch it and stays creased —
this is your category. Surface treatments will not reach that, and reducing the fat underneath alone can make it look worse.
If you can take a few days —
that is usually all it costs you. Most people treat on a Thursday and are presentable the following week.
If you pull the skin tight and want exactly that —
you are describing surgery. This gets you a meaningful way toward it without a theatre; we will tell you honestly how far, and refer you when a surgeon is the better answer.
If downtime is genuinely impossible —
start with non-invasive instead, accepting a lower ceiling. Both are honest options.

Who performs it

Under physician direction, every time.

Dr. Andrew Pugliese is our medical director and oversees every clinical protocol. Karen Heimbrecht, RN, is clinical director and runs treatment delivery and training. Protocols are written and versioned, not improvised. More on how we work.

Questions

About minimally invasive treatment.

Am I awake?

Yes. The area is numbed with local anaesthetic and you are awake and comfortable throughout. There is no general anaesthetic, no anaesthetist and no recovery room — you drive yourself home.

What does the downtime actually look like?

Swelling and bruising for the first few days, tenderness for about a week, and a compression garment for a period we will specify. Most people work from home for two or three days and are back to normal clothing inside a fortnight. Full results take three to six months as tissue remodels.

Will there be scars?

Entry points are small enough not to require stitches and are placed where they are least visible. They fade to near-invisible in most patients, which is one of the main reasons people choose this over surgery.

Is one treatment really enough?

For QuantumRF, usually yes — that is the point of it. Morpheus8 Body is typically a short series. Your consult will tell you which applies to your areas, and we would rather over-state the number than under-state it.

How is this different from liposuction?

Liposuction removes fat but does nothing for the skin left behind, which is why it can disappoint patients with laxity. These treatments address the skin as well as the fat, in one appointment, without a theatre. For large-volume removal, liposuction or a tummy tuck is still the right answer, and we will say so.

Who performs it?

These are performed under physician direction with written protocols. Our medical standards are published, which is not true of most practices offering this.

One treatment, or a course?

That is what The Blueprint Consult is for. An hour, a full 3D scan, and a written protocol with real prices — credited toward any package or membership you begin within 60 days.
