Morpheus8 Body combines microneedling with radiofrequency. A matrix of fine insulated needles enters the skin to a set depth and delivers RF energy into the deeper tissue, remodelling it from below while the surface is spared. On the body — abdomen, flanks, arms and knees — it is used for skin laxity and texture over a short series of about three sessions, with one to three days of downtime. How it actually works
The mechanism, plainly.
Microneedling alone creates controlled micro-injuries that trigger the skin’s healing response. Morpheus8 adds energy: each needle in the handpiece’s array is insulated along its length and delivers radiofrequency only at the tip, so the heat lands at a chosen depth beneath the surface rather than on it. The body handpiece reaches deeper than the face handpiece — into the fat layer and the fibrous tissue that supports the skin.
The heated tissue contracts and, over the following months, remodels: new collagen, tighter support, a smoother surface. Because the energy is fractional — a grid of treated points with untreated tissue between them — recovery is measured in days rather than weeks. It is skin work, not fat removal: where the main problem is a volume of fat, EvolveX or QuantumRF are the honest starting points.

This isn't for you if

- You can lift a fold of excess skin. That is a surgeon’s conversation, and we will say so.

About Morpheus8 Body.
What is the difference between Morpheus8 and Morpheus8 Body?
Same technology, different handpiece. The body handpiece has a larger array and reaches deeper, into the fat layer and the fibrous tissue that supports the skin, which is what abdominal or arm laxity needs. The face handpiece is finer and shallower. Morpheus8 for the face, jawline and neck has its own page.
Does it hurt?
Numbing and comfort measures are set at the consult, and we will tell you plainly what the session feels like for the area being treated rather than promise it is painless.
How much downtime is there?
1–3 days. Expect the treated area to be pink, with a visible grid pattern, for the first day or so. Plan around anything important.
How many sessions will I need?
About 3, spaced apart, with the number confirmed against your skin at the consult. Because remodelling continues for months after the last session, the result is judged then, not the week after.
Can it remove fat?
Is it suitable for darker skin tones?
Radiofrequency is not a light-based energy, which is generally why it is used across skin tones where some lasers are not. Your skin is assessed at the consult and the settings chosen for it.
