In short

EvolveX is a hands-free platform that uses radiofrequency energy and electrical muscle stimulation to reshape the body: warming the tissue, firming the skin and contracting the muscle through applicators placed over the area. Three modes — Tite, Tone and Transform — address fat, muscle and skin separately or all at once. Sessions run 30 to 60 minutes with no downtime, in a series a week apart, measured against your 3D scan.

How it actually works

The mechanism, plainly.

Applicators sit on the skin and deliver steady energy. In Tite mode that energy is radiofrequency: it warms the deeper layers of tissue, which is what drives collagen remodelling and a firmer skin surface over the following weeks. In Tone mode it is electrical muscle stimulation: the applicators trigger strong, controlled contractions of the muscle group underneath — the abdomen, glutes or arms — in the way an intense workout would.

Transform runs both at once, which is why one session can address fat, muscle and skin in the same area. Every applicator is individually adjustable, so each area gets the intensity that suits it, and because they are hands-free your practitioner can position them to target specific muscle groups or fat pockets. Nothing is cut, injected or numbed. EvolveX is an FDA-cleared Class II medical device, which is why a clinical evaluation comes before treatment.

What to expect

The real table.

What we can state from the treatment itself is stated. What depends on your body is confirmed at the consult, in writing, not guessed here.

Question EvolveX
Session length 30 to 60 minutes. Most people rest, read or listen to music.
What it feels like A steady warming in the area (Tite) and strong but controlled muscle contractions, like an intense workout (Tone). Powerful, not painful; every applicator is adjustable to your comfort.
Numbing None — no anaesthesia or numbing is required.
Downtime None. Temporary redness or warmth can occur and fades quickly.
Number of sessions A series — 6–12 sessions, one week apart, in packages of 6, 9 or 12. Maintenance every few months is optional.
When results appear Subtle changes in muscle tightness or skin smoothness after the first few sessions; visible change develops over several weeks and continues after the last session as muscle and collagen keep building.
How long they last A year or longer, depending on lifestyle and on completing the series. Muscle tone holds with regular exercise; a stable weight preserves the contouring.

Candidacy

Who it is for — and who it isn't.

This is for you if

  • You want firmer or more sculpted areas that resist diet and exercise.
  • You prefer a non-invasive, hands-free treatment with no recovery.
  • You are close to your goal weight and want refinement — or you are losing weight and want the skin addressed as it comes off.
  • You have mild to moderate skin laxity after weight loss.

This isn't for you if

  • Your main complaint is loose skin that stays creased when you pinch it. Surface radiofrequency will not reach it; that is a minimally invasive conversation, or a surgeon’s. EvolveX does not remove excess skin the way surgery can.
  • You have a lot of weight still to lose. Contouring chases a moving target — medically managed weight loss is usually sequenced first, or alongside.
  • You want the result in a single appointment. This works over a course.
  • You are pregnant, or have an implanted electronic device such as a pacemaker. Energy-based treatment is ruled out, and the consult screens for it.

Candidacy is a clinical decision made at the consult, under physician direction. The content on this site is for general information and does not constitute medical advice or establish a physician–patient relationship. Candidacy for any treatment is determined during an in-person consultation. Individual results vary.

How financing works

How it compares

EvolveX against CoolSculpting and Emsculpt.

The two devices people usually weigh it against. Different mechanisms, different jobs — not a claim that one is better.

EvolveX CoolSculpting and Emsculpt
Mechanism Radiofrequency heating plus electrical muscle stimulation, from one platform. CoolSculpting cools fat cells (cryolipolysis). Emsculpt contracts muscle with electromagnetic energy. Two separate devices.
What it addresses Fat, muscle and skin, in the same session. CoolSculpting: fat. Emsculpt: muscle, with some fat. Skin laxity is not the target of either.
How it is applied Hands-free applicators over the area, individually adjustable; several areas in one session. CoolSculpting: a cooling applicator per area. Emsculpt: a paddle strapped over the muscle.
Sensation Warmth, and controlled contractions. Intense cold and a pulling sensation; strong contractions.
Course 6–12 sessions a week apart, measured by 3D scan at 30, 60 and 90 days. Set by the provider offering them.

CoolSculpting and Emsculpt are trademarks of their manufacturers; BodyWorks does not offer either. The comparison is here because it is the one patients ask about.

Who performs it

Under physician direction, every time.

Questions

About EvolveX.

What areas can EvolveX treat?

The abdomen (fat, skin tightening and muscle definition), flanks (love handles), thighs (cellulite, fat and skin), buttocks (upper-glute definition and cellulite), upper arms, the upper back (bra-line fat) and front armpit fat. Because the applicators are adjustable and hands-free, your provider can position them to target specific muscle groups or areas of concern.

How many EvolveX sessions will I need?

It depends on your goals, the treatment area and the mode — Tite, Tone or Transform. Most patients complete a series of six, nine or twelve sessions scheduled one week apart; some people seeking more pronounced definition or fat reduction benefit from additional treatments. At your consult we assess your body composition and desired outcome to set the number, and maintenance sessions every few months may be recommended to preserve muscle tone and skin firmness.

Is EvolveX painful?

No. With radiofrequency you feel a steady warming in the treatment area; with electrical muscle stimulation you feel strong but controlled contractions, similar to an intense workout. The sensation can feel powerful but should not be painful. The settings are adjustable to your comfort, most patients relax, read or listen to music, and no anaesthesia or numbing is required.

How soon will I see results?

Some patients notice subtle improvements after the first few sessions, particularly in muscle tightness or skin smoothness. More visible changes develop gradually over several weeks, and your composition keeps improving after the last session as muscle fibres and collagen continue to build. Because the process is progressive, the full result is usually seen after completing the recommended series — which is why we re-scan at 30, 60 and 90 days rather than asking you to judge it in a mirror.

How long do EvolveX results last?

Results can last a year or longer, depending on your lifestyle and whether you complete the recommended series. Muscle tone achieved through stimulation is maintained with regular exercise; improvements in skin firmness persist as new collagen forms; a stable weight preserves the contouring. Some patients choose periodic maintenance sessions, and that is what the membership tiers exist for.

Can EvolveX help with loose skin after weight loss?

It can improve mild to moderate laxity. Tite mode heats the deeper layers of tissue with radiofrequency, promoting collagen remodelling and firmer skin over time, and using it during a weight-loss programme — rather than after — is the practice’s preferred sequence for the skin. It does not remove excess skin the way surgery can. A consultation determines whether your laxity is suitable for non-surgical treatment.

What does it cost?

$475 a session, with packages of 6 for $2,400, 9 for $3,500, 12 for $4,500. The Blueprint Consult is $150, credited toward any package or membership you begin within 60 days.

Financing runs through Cherry, Affirm or CareCredit, or in-house. How financing works.

Is it safe?

EvolveX is an FDA-cleared Class II medical device and requires a clinical evaluation before treatment, which is what the consult is. Sessions are hands-free and non-invasive; temporary redness or warmth can occur and fades quickly. Every treatment is performed at the Alpharetta suite under physician direction.
